The fact that it was pod fertile gave me hope as well as a reason for its release besides its great beauty and finesse in the world of edged daylilies. There is a distinctive beauty to the quality in form and appearance of this picotee that gives it a charm all its own. ARTISAN'S TOUCH is a very dormant cultivar and yet a vigorous grower with rapid increase which should make it ideal for northern gardens. The lovely cream-peach color flowers are accented with lavender eyes and edges. Scapes have two way lateral branching and 25 buds.
