(26"-EMRe-5.5"-6"-DOR.) This is a lovely diploid cultivar having
that
elusive "blue" tonal quality. As you look closely at the
petals you will note
the slight hints here and there of the lavender "blue". The
scapes of this
plant are very well branched with three laterals and top
branching too. The
scapes support fully fertile flowers of up to 35 count. The
parentage of this
flower is unknown as records were not kept at the time, but
there is a very
good probability that it has some of the same parentage as LAVENDER BLUE
BABY if , indeed, not actually being an LBB kid. ETHEREAL BEAUTY is a
very dormant lily and
should be a knockout in the regions colder than here in central east
Texas. It is
not recommended for the areas to the deep south or Gulf of Mexico
coastal areas.
