The Farm nursery location is different from the mailing address location. The daylily nursery is located at 10056 Highway 7 West (12 miles west of Center, Texas on State Highway 7 or 22 miles east of Nacogdoches, Texas on State Highway 7. LOOK FOR THE SIGN - THE LILY FARM - GIFT SHOP
MAIL-ORDER DAYLILIES – Most of our busines is from our mail-order sales. Our on line catalogue is found on our main page- http://www.lilyfarm.com/main.html where you may click on the present years releases. We post new releases in the Spring and Fall of each year. If you wish to purchase by way of Mail-order please contact me at my email address – jackcarpenter@hughes.net We also sell and dig daylilies during our open house period of time. OPEN HOUSE for 2009 begins on Friday, May 15-th and continues through the LAST DAY which is Sunday, June 21-st. WE ARE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK DURING THE OPEN HOUSE TIME. APPOINTMENTS are not necessary, but it is always good to check on things with us in case any unforseen emergencies might arise. PEAK BLOOM TIME-May 18-th thru June 15-th APPOINTMENTS may be made earlier or later when necessary, but earlier or later may see less in bloom. Highest peak bloom will be the last week in May and the first week in June IF THE YEAR IS NORMAL. Feel free to call to check on progress of the season here. Phone 936-598-7556 or 936-598-5262 DAILY BUSINESS HOURS: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Note: you may stay as long as you wish if you get into the garden by 1:30 p.m. -but we must start watering in the afternoon. The reason for early afternoon closing is so that irrigation may begin as it takes a long time to water the four acres and during the bloom time it may be dry. It is also very hot in the afternoons here. NOTE: Buses, Clubs, and Larger Groups are welcome: Due to the nature of our field sales and the 4 acre size of the farm, it is advisable to let us know in advance for such scheduling of larger groups so that we may have additional help to serve you. The Lily Farm is located between Nacogdoches, TX and Center, TX, at 10056 State Highway 7 approximately 12 miles west of Center, Texas or approximately 22 miles east of Nacogdoches, TX. Coming from the Nacogdoches direction it is about a mile past the little town of Aiken on the left side. Look for sign. Refer to map below. MOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT BEST WESTERN MOTEL(936-598-3384) IN CENTER, TX There is also a HOLIDAY EXPRESS INN just newly completed in Center. You will need to make advance reservations as often they are booked-up toward the end of May. |
