EYED PICOTEE (BOMAR) |

16"-MRe-5.75"-Dor. This is a very lovely,
round, flat flower with bright contrasting colors. A very large ,
bright green throat is
bounded by an intense, bright, wide, bold cranberry red eye. The
background color of the flower is a soft cranberry pink. Often the
flowers have a deeper cranberry
picotee around the petals. CRANBERRY EYED PICOTEE is fertile both ways
and
producing complete total picotee diploid flowers. The cultivar repeats
and branches
when established and has about 20 buds. Dormancy is quite strong in
this cultivar,
and it will probably be much better in the northern parts of the
country, though it
does well for us here in central east Texas. This cultivar makes
smaller sized plants and this is normal for its character. Sold out
until fall of '99. |
