2002 FALL RELEASES
Dear Friends,
This writing finds us in the usual summertime mode here at the lily farm.
The digging, dividing, and lining out of selected seedlings and clumps
needing separation continues in full swing since mid-June. Beds are being
revamped and prepared to provide for another two-year growth cycle for the
plants. Nine to ten thousand seedlings are growing in their cells in flats
waiting for September lining out into the field. What a wonderful year you
have made it for us here at our farm. With so much work input into the farm
here it is rewarding for us for you to come and see and enjoy the beauty of
the daylilies with us. Each year we see a greater number of you coming in
person and we are always delighted when you are able to do so. For all of
you a tremendous word of –THANKS! for your kind comments and words of
appreciation regarding your visits here this year and, of course, for your
financial support which makes it possible for us to continue this adventure
with our hybridizing program. We present for your consideration a few new
daylilies we think have redeeming qualities and hope you find something in
these fall 2002 releases that strikes your fancy. Please feel free to email
us should you need more information than given in the brochure.
