This flower lacks most of those things that make for a keeper,
but its color
alone is why it has been kept. Though not beautiful in
any sense, it is still perhaps the bluest lily I have ever seen. It is
interesting to note that the bluest colors often are found in lilies
with white or
near white areas that surround the throat. This is a very dormant plant.
